May be it's true

The reformation of the capital market announced by Najib recently confirmed that the 30 % bumiputera share is no longer a requirement. Tun Dr. M has criticised Najib's on his current economic liberalisation policies. Some people even viewed that the former PM played a race card in his blog posting yesterday by saying that Malays are no longer the 'tuan' of the country. read here

Well, seeing series of 'let going' of the hak keistimewaan bumiputera to satisfy the non-bumi (due to the current political landscape), may be it is true that the non-Malays, or the Chinese (just to be more precised) is the current Masters of the country. After 39 years of the NEP being introduced, bumiputera's equity remained at just 20 per cent while the Chinese share stood at 50 per cent even though they consisted of just 26 per cent of the population.

What ever it is, it depends on how you define the word 'master'. read here
