Al-Fatihah. Azman Mohd Noor, the Bagan Pinang state assemblyman (BN) passed away today of a heart attack at the Seremban Specialist Centre. This will trigger another by-election, the 9th since GE-12.
During March 2008 General Election, BN retained power in Negeri Sembilan but lost it's 2/3 majority in the state assembly. Currently there are 21 BN's state assemblymen, while 15 representatives are from PR. All but one of the previous eight by-elections were taken by the PR coalition. The most recent was in Permatang Pasir which saw BN being self-sabotaged by choosing an unfit candidate. Do they take that as a lesson?
