Kesabaran kita kini diuji.

... takkan sampai mogok lapar bro?
Tapi kalau ia pun, takkan sampai mogok lapar bro???

Some questions to ponder...
Today, Nizar Jamaluddin has been declared by the High Court as the legitimate Menteri Besar of Perak. No decision has been made to reverse the previous decision on the resignation of the 3 ADUNs (lompat katak). No decision has also been made on the situation of May 7th Assembly. Dr Zambry, with an open mind accepted the decision and has now vacated the MB's office.
Nizar announced that he will (as soon as possible) seek an audience with The Sultan of Perak to get his consent to dissolve the State Assembly and pave the way for fresh elections. He has also sacked the current State Legal Advisor. Meanwhile, BN who are still having the 28+3 ADUNs can still convene an emergency State Assembly and move a 'no-confidence motion' against Nizar.
Some questions to ponder:
1. Will Nizar get Sultan's consent to dissolve the State Assembly?
2. Is Ganeson still the State Assembly Speaker?
3. Can Nizar reappoint Sivakumar as State Assembly Speaker?

Just let the court decide
After the chaos in Perak state assembly 2 days ago, many (ordinary) people are getting tired of politics. Now, people just want peace and tranquility. Many (and me too) felt that what happened in Perak on Thursday was crazy, embarrassing and unacceptable... Perak with 2MBs and 2 Speakers!
The question of who is the rightful MB of Perak will be decided on Monday by the High Court. So, for all of us to show respect for the rights of people in Perak, the Sultan of Perak, the Perak State Assembly, and the court, just let the court decide. Both parties must then accept what ever the decision is. Please don't reject the court decision and blame other people if the decision is not in favor of your party.

Should Manoharan be released?
Yesterday, M. Manoharan said that he is most likely to resign. The Kota Alam Shah assemblyman who won the seat while under ISA detention cited his feelings of guilt and inability to serve his constituents as the main reasons for his decision.
If he quits, it would pave the way for yet another by-election, the 7th in the country in just 14 months after the General Election. Too many by-election is unnecessary, many agreed on that since it involves too much time and money to be spent. The government should now focus on the current economic challenges.
However, the opposition parties are trying to maintain the political temperature as their strategy. They believe that this will benefit them, at least until the next GE. In the previous 5 by-elections, BN has only succeeded in defending the state seat in Batang Ai. BN lost the Parliamentary seat in Kuala Terengganu and failed to regain 3 seats that were lost to PR during the 12th GE. The PR coalition will now continue to set series of by-election in order to create impression that BN is losing control.
Today, saying it is an election that DAP does not wish to have, Tony Pua (DAP Information Chief) urged Home Minister to immediately release Manoharan, who is still being detained under the ISA - to avoid the by-election.
Well, it will be another tough decision to be made by Hishamuddin Hussein. If Manoharan be released, the 'unnecessary' by-election could be avoided but on the other hand it will also create impression that BN is losing control.
